Design Thinking for Startups
The term “Design Thinking” made its way into the lexicon via David M. Kelly of IDEO and Stanford University back in 1991. Since then, the methodology has expanded into a process of problem solving used by industries well outside of design who understand its inherent value. The design thinking process has seven stages: define, research, ideate, prototype, choose, implement, and learn. Startup founders understand the value of rapid iterations, viable prototypes and knowing when and how to pivot. For growth and power to occur, a solid understanding of how to apply design thinking to your startup is paramount.
